Composer Jeremiah Ingalls was the first choirmaster of the earliest church in Rochester, Vermont, and lived in Hancock from 1810-1838. Known for his book of his choral compositions published in 1805, his music lives on today in the Shape Note tradition of sacred music. This original play is based on Ingalls’ life and music and will also feature original choral compositions.
